An Internet Primer for Teachers

This article is an introductory lesson for instructors on how to teach our students how to search the Internet using the search engine Yahoo effectively. It walks the educator through all the necessary steps as a guide, just as we would guide our students when first instructing them on a new topic or lesson. I really liked the comment made in this article when it compared searching the Internet to asking a direct question to a librarian...just tell Yahoo exactly what you are looking for...but the better the search skills, the better and more specific sites that are useful for our teaching needs and student achievement.
